1. an assignment on DDE for my robotics class
2. started working on my chip-8 emulator but i switched tutorials since i wasn't rlly sure where to start. i think im getting the idea so i might go back to the one i was using to see if it makes more sense :)
3. contacting a boba shop for discounted boba for counterspell since we're getting like 100

Look no further than @SlickStats ! You visit the app home to connect it to your account and then input your last.fm and Steam API keys for your status to magically update with what you’re listening to or playing!
I spent a looong time working on OAuth for this, but I’m really happy that it’s finally done.
I’m open for suggestions of other services to add!
One caveat: your automatic huddle status will get overwritten because it’s not technically a status - I’ll fix this eventually

@louisa7+spent most of yesterday and today working on this for counterspell as well as making some minor changes on my spooky boba design. i'm gonna spend the weekend working on spooky boba as well as trying to make my programming lang work. ik github misses me so i'll try to focus on coding and fix stuff up this weekend :noooo:
@Rangel0This is a quick proof of concept for a project I am planning, (It includes the basic logic of it)
Essentially you have two files a style and an input, in the style.txt you can define certain 'keys' to be replaced and modifiers for the replacement, theres only one modifier right now ignore-case that lets you replace no matter in what case it is, theres an example in the README if you didn't understand me (quite common)

@TheScientist1010I am almost done creating my macropad for #C07LESGH0B0|. I have added RGB, and an OLED display, but I still need to add two rotary encoders. It is partially routed in its current state, but I realize that adding rotary encoders might require me to rewire a lot. However, I am unsure about how to use I2C GPIO expanders in QMK, so if I add rotary encoders, that will be tough to tackle. Btw, I would appreciate it if anyone would take a look at my schematic in my repo github.com/TheScientist101/hackpad to check if it is correct.
@ajhalili20060Let's do a quick showdown of what's been cooking for #C07NUNPGEU8| during the week of September 22 to 28, Philippines Standard Time. Apologies if this week's been a hell week due to being the 1st quarterly exam on the 25th and 26th day of September, 2024.
The bulk of the coding hours in the week are dedicated to building the MVP features for the Slack app version of Recap Time Bot, our multi-purpose toolkit/service account/bot for Recap Time Squad's projects and friends, including hooking up Prisma ORM for Postgres data presistence on Nest (instead of coping up with the Airtable free tier limits) and building up some workflows via TypeScript Slack app development work (permission requests for accessing some bot features and slash commands). See the attached screenshots for a sneak peek.
The rest is mostly infrastructure related work for both my personal and Recap Time Squad cloud resources (mainly Cloudflare DNS records over octoDNS and some Docker Compose shenanigans), plus some behind the scenes work for my website powered by Material for Mkdocs theme.
Overall, I banked 10h 11m as of time of writing (up to the publication of this scrapbook entry), totaling to 14h 46m since September 17 (plus 10m designing for fun and profit) without the 'browsing' hours. See the thread for details on the stats.

• Nest admins struggled to add my domain :heavysob:
• Added the :nest: logo to the generator
• Modified CSS to make that work

@NathanTsai0I tried to get my lcd1602 to work, but it's really sensitive and wasn't working. I spent at least 10 minutes trying to rewire the wires before realizing the lcd didn't work. Sadly, it's still sensitive, and I can only see a blue screen, rather than the little square things that usually show up. Also, I read the documentation for the lcd, yet for one library, there was none, and I'd have to read over the actual functions, which really confused me. When I tried to make my own code, I realized how off I was because I of that library. Also my workspace is getting messier and messier. Oh well:
