I recently started using Amp when working on some HQ stuff, but then realized that I wouldn't be able to easily switch to my personal account so I could use Amp's free plan on personal projects. I decided to make amped, a tool that switches out Amp's secrets.json file to have a token for the chosen account. Since I haven't used Go in a while, I chose to use this project as a refresher. It's also the first I've ever made a program that interacts with the system keychain to handle secrets, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. If you have Go, you can install it via go install github.com/slashtechno/amped@latest Otherwise, there are releases with dynamic release notes!

Ever wanted to use multiple

WakaTime instances (eg. using both Hackatime and WakaTime at the same time) but waka-relay was just too hard to use? Worry no more! I just finished working on my new project, timesplit that aims to make that much easier!

project 2 (oct 14 - oct 28) - finishing the basic stuff with cursedOS day 7 - today i started working on memory management for cursedOS : 1. well starting the implementation (commit) 2. updating it + translation (commit) for some context cursedOS is a...well cursedOS @/guacmd and have been working on! pretty much all of it up until now was made on nano on a macbook that was running arch linux so this is the first time im working on it on a code editor with rust analyser which as been so awesome lol this is what's going on so far

I finished working on my project : The Verse Of Silence A web-based game made with Tailwind and SvelteKit, this live link is only a mechanism concept... Good morning everyone! (oh shoot, it's actually 4pm here rn... it still feels like morning lol) Yesterday Luca ( @Slloom ) and I finished the boba drops workshop with our club! (Almost) everyone was able to submit, but hopefully everyone else will be able to submit it within a few days. Shoutout Natalie (@?) who went above and beyond on her website and kept adding to it in between meetings! Check it out here! I think Luca and I will plan to do swirl in the next few meetings, and then maybe we'll start to introduce limited time YSWSs. I've made some more updates to my personal website, mostly aesthetic. I moved The Ghost to a secondary page so the main page can be more of an intro. I've got a small About Me, some links, and a projects section. I want to set that bit up like the SoM projects page: image, description, links, etc. but I'm not sure how... Yet. Apart from that, I think I'll try to do Blueprint, since I never got to submit the project I made for Highway, but I may not get to it till after Nov 9 when I finish the play I'm part of, The Play That Goes Wrong. I'd like to do Moonshot, since I really enjoyed Juice, but my parents don't want me to go to any more travel HC events after Neighborhood (even though I wasn't there), which I get for safety reasons, but also I've found no other organization that does what HC does in terms of travel events. Maybe in a year or so, if HC implements enough safety policies and such to my parents satisfaction, I'll be able to go to another. We'll see. (If someone at HQ wants to hear what safety stuff, dm me, cuz I'm sure other parents would want them as well) Anyways, on a completely separate note, Everyone keeps mishearing "Hack Club" as "Hat Club" so I wonder if we should rename the club from a very boring school-name-hack-club to The Mad Hackkers. What do you think?

Luca ( @Slloom ) and I hosted our first ever Hack Club meeting on 9/25! We had way more interest than we expected - 8 people! We handed out snacks and stickers, and then had everyone get Github, VS Code, Slack, and generally get set up to code. Then on 9/30 we hosted a Boba Drops Workshop, and had even more people come - 10! Almost everyone finished the workshop in the time they could stay for (1-2 hours). It was super rewarding to see people who had literally never touched coding in their lives code a website they were proud of! There were a few who themed their websites around their favorite video games, and another kept working on it after and came up to me yesterday with a second page with lots of poetry :) It was cool to see how what they were passionate about leaked into what hopefully will become a new passion! Doing the Boba Drops workshop reminded me that I have a website that I should work on, but so far I've only made minor changes (I've been really busy with schoolwork and I'm in the school play!), so I'll save an update on that for another time. Keep an eye out for a post on 10/10 when we do demos of the websites people made!

Final ship for SoM, is the 2nd major release of Liveboard! This release brings widgets to Liveboard!! Now you can see the weather, date and time at just a glance. Additionally, it also has a pomodoro timer widget! This runs even when you switch window, and plays an audible chime to signal the timer has ended, turning Liveboard from a simple whiteboard, into a fully featured productivity powerhouse! Just shipped v1.3.0!!! It introduces sticky notes! These notes can be placed anywhere on the canvas, and have full markdown support. They have a few different colours and can also be pinned in place. Autosave means that they persist (like ink and shapes) even if the app is restarted :D

I've now shipped Liveboard v1.2.0 , due to some bugs in the release). The two main new features are autosave and dark mode!! Autosave means that your drawings will persist even over app restarts. Dark mode is fairly self explanatory, but might be the best UI upgrade for users of dark mode - now it really blends into the desktop background.

I've just shipped liveboard!

It currently only has core features, but I've put work into making the overall structure and framework for it, so it can easily be expanded in future. Essentially, Liveboard is an app that transforms your computer desktop into an endless whiteboard canvas. All you have to do is minimise your window, and creativity is right at hand! A few days ago, I finished my second minecraft mod - also for #C07NQ5QAYNQ|. Today

approved it! So I just wanted to say that: I’ve made a ~~rip-off~~ economy mod - heavily inspired by #C015M4L9AHW| and I hope you like it! Hey guys! I've just finished my CodeClicker clicker game! It's a web-based clicker game, where you can click to write 'code' (the in-game currency). You can use 'lines of code' to get upgrades which allow to get more lines per click, and also unlock autocoders, which code for you. Hello guys.. I made a simple wallpaper scalper... ) ‼️ im actually pretty happy with how it turned out! it was a big improvement from the questionable shark thing i made yesterday, probably because i actually followed a proper blender tutorial this time. i still spent like 4 or 5 hours on it

, but i feel like if i redid it now, i could probably do in 1-2 hours. there's a timelapse attached btw. i did learn a lot of stuff! the hardest part maybe was probably unwrapping the UVs? next im gonna rig it and make it dance or something

another scrapbook post oop, but i did attempt to make a blender shark from the irl clay shark ceramic i made. i kinda winged it so its EXTREMELY scuffed and lowk has some holes on the forehead, BUT it was still fun to make

i would improve it but all the vertexs are just spaghettiiii next i will attempt to make the little otter ceramic in blender

This message is a bit late 😅 , so it’s fasttttt. This is my first ever game in rust and I used Macroquad! I plan to deploy it on the web soon since macroquad makes that easy, but you can play it right now on Linux, Mac and Windows! It’s called CloudCat and basically you have a cat, and rain clouds and your objective is to protect the cat using an umbrella (triggered for 3s via hitting the space bar)! I hand animated the cat & cloud and those are my first ever animations too!! Hey everyone, just shipped my second proper project! (not counting one which was just fixing the styling of an old project). It's just a simple path tracer made without any game engines or libraries; just WebGPU and JS. made a project gallery for #C0931T5SEH4| that pulls from a*rtable!! which sounds simple but i made it wayyyy harder than it should have been

cuz i didnt wanna expose the api keys so then i went down an INSANELY deep rabbit hole that probably wasnt even that deep but i have a terrible shovel or whatever so it was hard for me lmao but then realized i could js make a new base with only the project gallery table and not the one with ppls addresses and stuff and then leak the api keys bc who cares all the info is on the website nothing to see here. but yeah!! the commit history is a menace

but yeah it looks nice, also volume up bc people added their background sounds to each game and hopefully by the end of this event theres gonna be a lotta games there
