I used hack club as motivation to learn a new coding language called LUA and used Roblox studio as my IDE. I followed a beginner course and made this game where I applied all that knowledge. This game consists of buttons and bricks that have different functions such as killing the player, increasing rain density and decreasing. Escape room update: • add books and plants to the bookshelf • rain falling down the lounge window • combining items now displays the new item's image in the inspect menu • replacing the old light will update the light's image to be the new light I did some animations as well for the game but it's not currently implemented and just sits in my repo for now. Day 2/10 of #hardware-party! Finished designing the box to house all of the components in. Added a overhang so that the pressure and humidity can still be sensed while the box is closed while still providing shelter from the rain. Formatted one of my project 128mb micro sd cards to implement logging. Spent some time banging my head against the wall trying to figure out where the BMP280 is located on the I2C bus. Turns out the manufacturer (seller 3rd party) was wrong and the sensor is not on 0x77 but instead on 0x76. Will print the box tomorrow time permitting.

Today I had my next introductory day to college! It was great as well. I'm ready to start classes next week! :yay: :backpack: So as I mentioned yesterday, here's the description for my new Hack Club's PR! :merge: There were some differences between Scrapbook's README file and the "About" section of the website, so I edited the .mdx file which I also learned how to work with to bring back that missing info! Today I studied again for my exam of tomorrow! Also it's raining very hard right now. Today as well I read that GitHub is going to archive Atom! It was the first code editor I used and it's always going to be special for me even when I've been using vs code a lot lately! Because of this, I saw as well other benefits of forks and some things about Electron framework for desktop apps! Also I'm going to be reading the hobbit again!

Did the Ross doge stream, watched the rain, I thought it was poetic: just thinking about how this planet is so supportive of life, water just dripping from the floating water stations above. day 2 of 2021! today i didn't get too much done. i woke up pretty late, did a couple workouts from the nike training app and then went for a walk and danced in the rain w my friend which is literally the best feeling. highly recommend! i tried to work on debate but my head wasn't feeling too good so wasn't rlly productive the rest of the day. i also made a cake and decorated part of the house because today (jan 3rd) is my dad's 50th! anyways, overall not the best day but still tried to make the best of it!

I'm gonna try to get @scrappy to react with as many emojis as possible, for no particular reason. When we arrived in space, there were shouts of "yay!" and "hooray!" I wanted to sleep, but the sunset was much too captivating. As I struggled to paint a representation of the masterpiece, my art was cut short by a reminder of our predicament. Our ship's Linux core had been damaged by a rain storm. Upon further inspection, is appeared as though the Rust installation on our ship's robot had been corrupted. We debated which language to replace it with; "Golang!" Matt said. "Swift!" Linus shouted. "Deno!" "JavaScript!" We decided on rewriting the robot's code using minecraft redstone (that way we didn't have to use npm). 15 years later, once we finished, we pushed to the GitHub repository. But wait! The robot's hardware was also severely crippled. We had to 3d print some parts, after getting the models from Google.

It’s a torrential downpour kinda day which I absolute love. 😌 Lol I have a weird obsession with heavy rain. The best way I can describe it is the same way people channel their agitation into a fidget toy so they can be calm in whatever else they’re focusing on, when it’s full on downpour, the energy bottled up inside better reflects the word around me; the tension starts to release and the good vibes start flowin (lol like stress osmosis). 🌊 so here’s 30 seconds to take a pause from ur hectic day and enjoy some mindfulness :))
