project 1 (oct 5 to oct 18) - my personal website getting a much needed revamp day 3 i had a test today so i didn't get to do much coding but i worked on the projects page a lil more + worked on some assets for the friends page. the project page has some cool vids linked to it :P and it's a little bit more interactive next step - finish contact page + figure out how to make about page more interactive + figure out where friends page will go

Luca ( @Slloom ) and I hosted our first ever Hack Club meeting on 9/25! We had way more interest than we expected - 8 people! We handed out snacks and stickers, and then had everyone get Github, VS Code, Slack, and generally get set up to code. Then on 9/30 we hosted a Boba Drops Workshop, and had even more people come - 10! Almost everyone finished the workshop in the time they could stay for (1-2 hours). It was super rewarding to see people who had literally never touched coding in their lives code a website they were proud of! There were a few who themed their websites around their favorite video games, and another kept working on it after and came up to me yesterday with a second page with lots of poetry :) It was cool to see how what they were passionate about leaked into what hopefully will become a new passion! Doing the Boba Drops workshop reminded me that I have a website that I should work on, but so far I've only made minor changes (I've been really busy with schoolwork and I'm in the school play!), so I'll save an update on that for another time. Keep an eye out for a post on 10/10 when we do demos of the websites people made!

I've made site that visualize github data and makes some cool graph with that. Currently it can only visualize repos that user contributed to and organizations. Im awaiting ship certification but here is my demo and github repo link. enjoy

6/365: • book: color theory... honeslty i already knew it so i just threw some colors and moved on main course. so today i was at art shop and got myself some cool art supplies, wich inclued but are not limited to B2 pen, H6 pen (was intending on H3 [WHO PUT H6 IN H3 ;-;]), mecanical pencil AND CHARCOAL SET :DD (Holy shit i love it already, bit messy but worth it as black couldn't be more black, as well so fun to draw with as you can just let yourself go with the flow, HIGLY RECOMEND :DD) • Time: bout hour and half • Yap: As i said it was color theory in the book.. BUT IT'S BOORING so i decided to have fun with pencils that i just got, and IT WAS AWESOM

3/365: Drawing some trees (actually one, mimic of a tree

), i am gonna be honest i haven't used color in WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY to long so i am soo happy to see that i still have some good coloring in me :DD (used crayons since they were lying around from yesterday kek) Time: took me bout 1 podcast bout socialengineer (1hr 10min), 1 yt documentary (20min) and a bit of hard metal band logo solving vid (20min) so bout 1hr 50 mins :)) Yap: so in start i drew a tree and saw that few of the branches looked organic even, so i decided it's gonna be mimic tree :DD then drew everything using marker (took bout 1hr) then i saw crayons on my desk and had this urge to add color... so i wasted another hr just doing that

, anyways i think the end result is super cool :)) (altho i still can't draw anything human shaped ;-;)

so my favoritemusicbadge project can now take the top music from last.fm, planning to then add, listenbrainz support then we are done! its also backwards compatible with the older version (i mean it should be) so thats pretty cool! (no, the api key has been made up, you got the wrong one, believe me.)

Today I discovered you can call golang functions from js using WASM and pkg.go.dev/syscall/js which is pretty cool. I think I'm going to try to make some sort of interactive colourful making thingy with it! I also worked some more on the #C096T301L2G| thing and made some actually nice wallpapers I think, like this one which is supposed to be fire-y colours

so today i did more things so im pretty happy of myself!!! i finished my mouse case, its probably bad/not going to fit the bambu mouse for some reason, but i tried! (so the squeak ysws is approximatiely done, not submitted cuz im waiing for confirmation that my thing is good) now im trying to participate to the optimize ysws and will try to make a text editor! currently taking an online tutorial on how to make a text editor using c (very cool)

Starting to relearn electronics without the use of microcontrollers. I realized that I rely a little too much on random tutorials to tell me how to do a cool project on a microcontroller, and it hindered my ability to start projects on my own and actually learn what the freak is happening. I want to get to a point where i can make the things i normally would w a microcontroller, but with just transistors and logic gates. Very excited!!!

Wohooo! Not everything fully works, But most of the core stuf and all the tables are now no longer using node-persist (JSON) But now use postgres

There is so much relational data! So this is such a cool usage! Ive seen how node-persist can struggle myself and this is sum i wanted to fix b4 V1 FOR SURE!!!

so, turns out that cardputer firmware is gonna have to wait! i'm happy to say that i've begun working on a project for the new YSWS, TerminalCraft! i've been wanting to make a CLI tool for a while now, and this is the perfect opportunity. as i was brainstorming (daydreaming during my classes because i have terminal senioritis), i realized that it'd be pretty cool to have a bundled solution for data exfiltration that's a little more classy than just... opening a netcat listener on my pi zero at home and using a basic base64 encode... so i've decided to start developing XFilBuddy, a new all-in-one tool for exfiltration. i'd like for it to support data compression, protocol masking, steganography, encoding using Aces, and of course HTTP proxy stuff. i think i've put a lot on my plate... but i'm excited! i'd like for this to ideally be a project i work on long-term, that i can present to employers when it's in a further state of development

Day 3 of #C045S4393CY| Today I started implementing Face ID into my python phone, it is an algorithm that takes a one time picture of your face that only the code can see(you can change it to save on your computer to use the same face id login everytime)This makes login faster and more cool, there are no sensors involved, it is just a pure picture! I have been prototyping face id for a while but recently came up with the best design!(It's been a while since i've added something that is not an app, didn't have a log in feature before this)

Day 1 of #C045S4393CY| I began work on my #C08APN1CKEJ| submission. I don't have much experience with C, so this was a fun experience. The semicolons were sooooo annoying, but I got used to them. After some effort, I made a start button for a game idea. I was thinking a minimalist dino run thing would be cool.

Today i received some of the the high seas things I ordered: • a lockpicking kit: had some fun with it, lockpicked my first locks today >:3 although they were very small locks, i should buy bigger ones • the github universe badge: went to the github website to flash my own badge, in the future i think i'll try to make some cool projects with that

today i: 1. athena dinner event MAYBE found? its this pretty glasshouse, which is also like really decently priced for the entire space to ourselves. i also got in touch with some decor ppl, nothing confirmed on the decor front yet but i kinda got some ideas i can relay to the decor team :D i hope the dinner venue search is now over lol 2. we are now at 8 (tentatively) confirmed guests !! 3. maybe #C05T8E9GY64| show and tell

I learned OpenSCAD today. I love parametric stuff and the magic that changing one variable does. (blot art is so cool in the same way) I'm starting to use gridfinity but I wanted to cut down on the number of magnets I used cus $$, so I modified Gridfinity Extended OpenSCAD to add a center hole. I now can use 2 magnets instead of 8, and it's more than strong enough

melody generation functionality implemented, based on pure functions! this generator uses probability to randomly trigger notes from the pentatonic scale, making for some wind-chimey melodies. cool!!!

today was filled with lots of school work speedrun lol: • pulled an all nighter • today a local business reached out for a poster design so ive been trying to make one (also i asked before i posted it here just to make sure they were cool w it :) ), this is the first very rough draft to just make sure im getting what they want but ill pretify it later: • not much progress w @loumakespopculturereferences (idk why the name isnt changing sob), just added a few more emotions and that was it. i do plan to ship it tmrw tho. learning ab slack bots is interesting to say the least lol • been a really weird day where i live so ive been keeping up w that, might make a website hopefully before christmas to document it since i feel like alot of ppl dont quite understand the situation rn
