Red letter day: It wooorks!!11!!1!Day ???: I arranged a more appropriate place to run the CO2 laser
cutter. Today, I disassambled it. It's surprisingly compact when
disassambled. Tomorrow, I'll carry it over to the place and finally
share some eye-candy with you guys 😄
CO2 Laser Cutter, Day II. It almost works! I was experimenting with the settings to find the correct ones, but the smoke from the MDF became a bit problematic. I'll investigate ways to prevent this problem tomorrow.
Laser Cutter, Day 2 | The frame has been assembled and XY motion is achieved. There are minor issues with the laser tube and the 3D prints. Tomorrow Doruk and I will do some troubleshooting and hopefully get this perhaps-way-too-hacky laser cutter to perform the basic set of actions which it is named after.
