The background was a pain to do, especially getting it to work without setting overflow: none, but I did it. It has the background I wanted and the form elements can be used, it needs a lot more styling, but the background is done!

Customised my scrapbook by further simplifying the CSS city and abusing pseudo-elements! It looks best on Chrome (due to some newer features being abused to hide the rest of the streak days string). It's a great way to learn about all the quirks of CSS and how to use them in your favour. Very happy with the page so far, but I'm sure I'll come up with some more outlandish ideas in the future!
